We kindly invite you to attend a conversation between the Hogar-Refugio para Personas Migrantes “La 72” and Stichting Noodopvang Vluchtelingen Nijmegen SNOV, two organizations providing different kinds of assistance to migrant, refuged and undocumented populations in México and The Netherlands.
The event aims to begin a conversation, an accompaniment, between these organizations, which despite being in quite different geopolitical settings, work for similar communities currently oppressed by global and regional migration regimes.
The event will not only focus on the organizations’ work, contexts and daily struggles, but will serve as a space for solidarizing with La 72, as donations will be collected and sent to them. A donation of 2.50 euros (minimum) will be taken in exchange for the digital zine called “Voy Caminando” (I’m walking), made by the people residing in La 72 home-shelter.
You are welcome to come to De Klinker politiek café on June 7 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Coffee, tea and fresh drinks will be available at the bar.
