Have you seen three freaks? A tall one with a flute, a small one with a light? Oh yes, and one with a burning
beard? What do they do? Well… Stoner, math rock, instrumental with brass and vocals… and with each iteration,
it becomes even more complex, more refined in sound, more melodic, more driving, more versatile, more
vocals, more trumpets, more more… ROTOR fans will be delighted, as Rotor guitarist Tim, along with his two
buddies, takes it up a notch. The guitar always remains unmistakably at the helm. Add to that an uncle who is
one of the most skilled drum and percussion masters in the capital, allowed to unleash and contribute here,
and on top of that, brass sections galore contributed by Sören, who “casually” plays in the orchestra of the
Berlin Konzerthaus. TSCHAIKA 21/16 is complete free flight and is fun, sometimes even funny. And funny
without taking words into one’s hands.

Idealus Maximus is an instrumental riff rock trio from around Ghent, Belgium. Formed in 2004 by Fanio (drums),
Erik (guitar) and Pablo (bass). They released a first EP in 2009 and played countless shows. In 2014 they self
released their eponymous full album that was well received. Lots of great shows followed including Yellowstock
and Roadkill, and shared stages with their biggest inspirations such as Karma To Burn and The Atomic Bitchwax.
After a 6 year hiatus maximus, they are now back and armed with a new album filled with riffs!
