At ⁂🏳 Queer Sphere ⁂ we rave the night away in the waviest cave of Nijmegen. On the first cishet day of the Vierdaagsefeesten, we aim to create a space for queer (techno) lovers, friends and allies. Because, not only on ‘Pink Wednesday’ queerness deserves space… Three base-kicking DJ’s are coming from far to make us slide high, care deeply and dance hard.

Also important: the word ‘queer’ is a political term and does not only stand for ‘glitter and fun’. It can operate as an umbrella term for lives lived outside of cis- and heteronormative structures and for people who challenge the LGBT mainstream. It can also be a way of countering norms around gender and sexuality through different ways of thinking or acting.
