Met BEESUS en RRRags

Beesus born in 2011.
Mutt, Mudd, Pootchie and Touis arrive to the first album “The Rise of Beesus” in 2015 mixing Doom,
Stoner and Grunge influences with more lysergic fantasies and visions of an ending world.
After two years of European touring they give birth to “Sgt.Beesus…and the lonely ass Gangbang!”, an
album with a punker soul, but in the same time more articulate in the composition.
Right at the dawn of recordings Johnny substitues Mutt on bass, where he remains even after Touis’
abandon, replaced by Jaco for the tours coming up with the release of the album.
In 2019 the line up changes again, becoming a power trio:
Mudd (drums, vocals), Pootchie (guitars, vocals), Johnny (bass, vocals).

From 2015 to 2019 the live shows reach and break the number of 120 all across continental Europe, each
one booked by the band itself under the name “Magical Mistery Van Booking”.

RRRags was was formed after a jam session in late September 2017, after which was decided to record an album as soon as possible.
Four rehearsals later we hit the studio, together with Grand Wizard of Oss Marcel Van De Vondervoort (Astrosoniq) who has since become the band’s unofficial fourth member. Six tracks were recorded live in two days.

Brown Note Booking is verheugd dat zij vanavond, voor de eerste maal in Nijmegen, Beesus & RRRags aan jullie mag presenteren.

Beesus is opgericht in 2011, stoner en grunge invloeden zijn het hoofdbestandsdeel van hun sound.
Na 2 jaar toeren werd het album “Sgt.Beesus…and the lonely ass Gangbang!” uitgebracht, echt een album met een punk soul.
In 2019 verandert de line-up en wordt het een power trio: Mudd (drums, zang), Pootchie (gitaren, zang), Johnny (bas, zang). Tussen 2015 en 2018 trad Beesus maar liefst 120x op in West- Europa.

RRRags brengt soulvolle, heavy 70’s rock en een zingende drummer die daar een lekker vocaal sausje overheen gooit. De band bestaat uit gitarist Ron van Herpen (Astrosoniq,The Devil’s Blood), bassist Rob Zim (The Lords of Altamont) en drummer/ zanger Rob Martin (Bliksem). Onder leiding van producer Marcel van de Vondervoort (Astrosoniq) werden de eerste songs ingeblikt en debuteerde RRRags in 2018 op Roadburn.

Zaterdag 26 oktober zijn beide bands live te zien in de Onderbroek, Tweede Walstraat 21 te Nijmegen. De entree gaat naar de bands en is 5 tot 7 euro. Zien we je de 26ste? Deur open: 21u, aanvang rond 21.30u.
